CANCELLED- Annual Career Fair 2020 for Engineering & Skilled Trades

Register online for the Annual Career Fair for Engineering & Skilled Trades on Wednesday, March 18th, 2020.

The fair will run from 10:00AM-2:00PM in the Casa Loma Campus Gymnasium. Arrive early in order to avoid line-ups due to the capacity of the Gymnasium.

Here are the event requirements:

1. Attendee must be a current full-time CCET student or alumni to attend (outside guests are unable to attend)
2. Have your student/alumni ID card to present
   
3. Business Casual attire is recommended*

What can I bring into the event?

You are encouraged to bring copies of your resume, portfolios to showcase and above all, preparation and enthusiasm to have conversations.

We will NOT be having coat check, so please arrange your coats, backpacks and other larger items to be stored away in your lockers prior to lining up for the fair. This event tends to get very busy so we recommend students to bring only what is necessary and easy to carry.

*What does 'business casual' mean?

We are recomending students to dress "business casual" to make a professional impression. We are NOT expecting any of the attendees to go and purchase new attire for this event. Please be encouraged to select from your pre-existing items and wear whatever makes you feel confident to talk to industry.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Absoutely, you can! If not, we can look you up by name at the registration student check-in.

What if I am enrolled in another program that is NOT Construction or Engineering? Or not George Brown College?

This event is targeted specifically for current full-time students in CCET or alumni.

Any suggestions for preparation?

We will be hosting several Career Fair preparation workshops at the Career Centre. In addition, you can always speak to your faculty for advice, staff at Career Centre and the Industry Liaison Office.
